Bryan Cranston Fulfills Lifelong Dream of Becoming a Power Ranger

Who didn’t want to be the Red Ranger growing up? It’s only one of the coolest superheroes in modern children programing — and we’re including Kim Possible (don’t judge!).

Thankfully, Bryan Cranston shares the same devotion to the beloved red hero, which is why he easily transitioned from Walter White to the Red Ranger at the drop of a hat, and on national television no less.

After stopping by The Late Show, Stephen Colbert introduced his friend as “one of the finest, most distinguished actors of our generation” before Bryan walked out in full costume, with high kicks.

Of course, Bryan won’t be playing red ranger (don’t tell him that). He is playing the voice of Zordon, the mighty power who guides the teenage rangers to fulfill their destiny and destroy evil in the world.

“That’s not the reason I took the job, Stephen, if that’s what you’re saying,” Cranston joked. “When I did just the head, I was nude. I have a nudity clause in every contract, but it’s the opposite of what you think. I have to be naked every time.”
