One guy is about to have Anna Wintour as a mother-in-law. Talk about intimidating! Well, it couldn’t be any more intimidating than his own mother: the late editor in chief of Italian Vogue, Franca Sozzani.

According to Page Six, Anna’s daughter, Bee Shaffer, just got engaged to Francesco Carrozzini, son of Sozzani, who passed away last December.

Surely this wedding is going to be one for the decades!

An insider told Page Six they’ve been together for a while. In fact, the two attended a screening of a documentary about Franca last October, which was called Franca: Chaos and Creation. The event itself was co-hosted by Anna.

Francesco is the only child of the legendary Franca Sozzani.

When Franca died, Anne penned a very emotional goodbye to her friend, who would have made a fabulous mother-in-law partner in crime (imagine their secret emails and text messages to each other back and forth?), on Vogue’s website.

Anna wrote: “After she became ill, I began visiting her at her home in Milan. Her mind and spirit were undiminished as we discussed every topic under the sun, from the fall of Matteo Renzi, to her amazing work with women in Ghana, to our children’s miraculous love affair.”

Congrats you two! You can’t ever say you have nothing in common.
