Is this Pink Lake in Australia Real?
There’s a lake in Western Australia called Lake Hiller that is hot pink and absolutely stunning.
The bubble gum colored lake can only be seen from the air, and it’s a sight to behold.
So, what makes it pink?
Some speculate that Lake Hillier’s color is the result of high salinity combined with a salt-loving algae species known as Dunaliella salina and pink bacteria known as halobacteria, according to Australia.com. #HolyBeautiful
