Fadi Fawaz, boyfriend of the late George Michael, was seen on March 13, the same day that is rumored to be the funeral for the beloved singer. The 43-year-old hairdresser was seen leaving George’s $10 million mansion, which was left to George’s older sister, Melanie.
According to Mirror, Fadi, who found the singer after he had passed away in his bed on December 25, 2016, claims he was “frozen out” of the funeral plans by George’s family. As press gathered around the home today, Fadi repeatedly asked them, “Why are you still here?”
Though word has spread that the funeral was set to take place at Highgate Cemetery today, the family has kept very quiet on the matter. A family member, who answered the intercom of George’s home said, “Melanie is not around, we don’t know yet when the funeral is. I am family, but I can’t talk to you any more, sorry.”
