The death of George Michael rattled the music industry, and finally his fans have some answers after months of percolating. And as it turns out, he died of natural causes.

“Enquires into the death of George Michael have been concluded and the final post mortem report received,” the Senior Coroner for Oxfordshire revealed. “As there is a confirmed natural cause of death, being Dilated Cardiomyopathy with Myocarditis and Fatty Liver, the investigation is being discontinued and there is no need for an inquest or any further enquiries. No further updates will be provided and the family requests the media and public respect their privacy.”

At the time of his death, the cause of death was inconclusive. Reps said that further tests would be carried out, even though they confirmed he died peacefully at home.
