Anderson Cooper is DONE With Donald Trump

Like most people, Anderson Cooper is so over President Donald Trump’s Twitter drama. In an interview on The Late Show last night, the renowned news anchor said it got so bad he had to “mute” him on Twitter.

“Don’t tell him,” Anderson said to Stephen Colbert. “When you get annoying people tweeting you, you don’t want to delete because then that tells them you’ve deleted them, so if you just mute them, they think you’re still following them and you don’t actually see their tweets. I just don’t want to have that drama in my life. I have great respect for the president — I just don’t need to follow him on Twitter. Listen, I have friends who have mania, I don’t want to be around them all the time.”

He also said he didn’t want to have a relationship with anyone from the White House, especially Kellyanne Conway: “I interviewed Kellyanne Conway a couple weeks ago — probably, maybe my last interview with her ever, I don’t know. I’m not saying anything bad about her, I haven’t interviewed her since, and it was supposed to be a 12-minute interview and it ended up being 26 minutes, and at one point in the interview, she said something to me along the lines of, ‘You know, we may have to rethink the relationship we have.’ I’m like, ‘We don’t have a relationship.'”
