Chance The Rapper Will Donate $1 Million to Chicago Public Schools

Chance the Rapper is certainly breaking the mold in many ways. Not only is he an independent artist signed to no label, he truly is putting his money where his mouth is.
He just announced that he will donate $1 million to the Chicago Public Schools.
Chance believes that the most valuable resource is the city’s children, according to Billboard.
He said the donation is made possible by his fans through ticket sales for his upcoming tour.
He was quoted in Billboard saying this:
“This isn’t about politics, this isn’t about posturing, this is about taking care of the kids. Governor Rauner, do your job!”
