When the news that Beyonce will no longer be headlining Coachella this year surfaced, we pretty much nearly fainted. But like everyone else, we wiped away our tears and found courage to smile again once we learned that Lady Gaga will be replacing her…

That’s right!

Only a queen can replace a queen, eh?

Due to Beyonce’s pregnancy, her doctors have ordered that she skip the event. Thankfully Lady Gaga must be saved in Queen Bey’s contacts or something because within an instant, Gaga was more than happy to replace the iconic singer.

Gaga is set to headline Coachella on Saturday, April 15 as well as the next weekend, April 22, in Indio, California. She will be performing after Radiohead and before Kendrick Lamar. Check out the lineup:

“Following the advice of her doctors to keep a less rigorous schedule in the coming months, Beyoncé has made the decision to forgo performing at the 2017 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival,” Beyonce’s rep said in a statement before Coachella announced the replacement.

Needless to say, fans weren’t terribly disappointed after hearing the news of Bey’s understudy.
