Even though it’s been 13 whole years since Friends ended, we just can’t help ourselves. We REALLY want a reunion. We NEED a reunion. So, what does Lisa Kudrow have to say about this these days?

Lisa visited TODAY yesterday to promote her new movie, Table 19, but conversation shifted when Savannah Guthrie fought the good fight and asked her if there would ever be a Friends reunion.

“We have convened. Privately. For dinner.” The actress continued, “We had such a good time. It was hilarious. We were laughing nonstop.”

Way to rub salt in the wound, Lisa! After Savannah told her that she was being mean, she said, laughing, “I know. But if we don’t tell you that one’s coming, and then it doesn’t happen, you have no reason to be disappointed. I’m managing expectations.”

Lisa feels the characters’ lives have evolved to places that wouldn’t make sense to follow. “The thing we liked about that show is it was like 20-somethings and they were their own family and now they have families,” she said. “So what are we going to watch?” Savannah added, “It’s funny, because we were both that age and now we’re like boring middle-aged people,” to which Lisa replied, “Right. I don’t want to watch me.”
