While Oprah got a lot of flack for not getting married nor having kids in years passed, the outspoken talk show host clearly does not care anymore.

In an interview with Good Housekeeping UK, Oprah said, “When people were pressuring me to get married and have children, I knew I was not going to be a person that ever regretted not having them because I feel like I am a mother to the world’s children. Love knows no boundaries. It doesn’t matter if a child came from your womb or if you found that person at age 1, 10 or 20. If the love is real, the caring is pure and it comes from a good space, it works.”

While Oprah admitted she doesn’t “have the patience” to be a mother, she still says creating the school for girls was perfect because she never wanted to have babies.

And while she and Stedman Graham have been together for three decades, the two have never been married. Chances are she don’t care what you think about that, either. You go, Oprah!
