As we know the “Love Actually” team is getting back together for a special mini-sequel, in honor of Red Nose Day.

Emma Thompson revealed that can’t return as her character, “Karen” because her “Harry” is gone. #NeedTissues

After the death of Alan Rickman (Harry), the director Richard Curtis decided that it was too soon after Alan’s passing to write a piece that didn’t include him.

Alan died last January at the age of 69 after battling cancer.

He will forever live in our hearts through his many films including 2003’s “Love Actually.”

According to The Huffington Post, Emma said this:

“It’s absolutely right, it’s supposed to be for Comic Relief and there isn’t much comic relief in the loss of our dear friend really only just over a year ago. We thought and thought, but it just seemed wrong.”
