After Hollywood rallied behind transgender rights as our president reversed transgender bathroom protections, one voice rang loud and clear: Jackie Evancho.

Jackie burst onto the scene after her epic America’s Got Talent season, and she also performed for President Trump’s inauguration. But one thing most of America didn’t know is that she has a trans sister, Juliet, whom she is eager to protect.

After taking to twitter, offering Trump a chance to meet with her and Juliet, it was again brought up in the daily press briefing with White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer.

“Yeah, I think the president would be welcome to meet with her,” Sean had said.

Obviously the sisters were thrilled to hear the news. Jackie responded to CNN saying, “Maybe there’s a way we can create a federal law or something [for trans protections]. It’s just going to divide America more than it already is. We’re trying to work to piece America together again.”

Juliet added, “It needs to be on a federal level because if it’s not and it’s left in states’ hands, then we are going to have this many states saying one thing, and this many states saying another.”
