Yesterday we brought you the story about Chris Brown being accused of abusing ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran. The allegations are now growing as Kay Cola speaks out in Karrueche’s defense.

The singer took to Twitter yesterday to stand up to people claiming Karrueche was lying, and to express her deep concern over the situation. As a neighbor of Chris’s, she says she heard the singer hurting Karrueche, and at one point Kay even called the police. Take a look at her tweets:

Some of y’all make me sick to my stomach talking about. Karrueches lying. I’ve heard him beating her myself. I even called the police:

Neither Chris’s lawyer nor Karrueche’s rep have commented on the matter. Chris’s restraining order remains in effect until the next hearing date scheduled for March 9.
