Donald Trump Reverses Obama’s Trans Bathroom Rights, Hollywood is Not Happy
Donald Trump recently revoked federal protection for transgender students, allowing them to use bathrooms and locker rooms that match their identified genders.
Needless to say, Hollywood is not happy about it. All the years of social and political progress we made as a culture recently has now been reversed without our permission.
Even America’s Got Talent star Jackie Evancho, who sang at Trump’s inauguration and who has a trans sister, stepped in the fight.
Read what they have to say:
Just seeing the news about removing laws protecting trans people. This isn’t about politics. It’s about human rights, and it’s not okay.

To the LGBTQ community, I’m sorry for the message that was sent today. They don’t speak for all of us. We love you.

We need to protect trans youth and stand up against this cruelty that hurts our kids. Support @Translifeline
