We brought you the story on February 10 about how Shia LaBeouf’s protest project, “He Will Not Divide Us”, was shut down due to becoming a “public safety hazard”. But clearly nothing will keep the impassioned actor from taking a stand.

On February 18, Shia uprooted his live streaming political statement against Trump and hatred and relocated it to Albuquerque, New Mexico. The crew, including artists Luke Turner and Nastja Säde Rönkkö, set up the camera outside of the El Rey Theater and carried on with the message.

But apparently the project’s trouble didn’t stop there. According to TMZ, at around 4:20 this morning, a vandal, clad in a mask or bandana consealing his face, approached the camera and sprayed it with a can of bright red paint.

If violent white supremacists didn’t stop Shia, we’re quite sure this little mess will be cleaned up quickly and that they’ll be back to business in no time.
