Last week, Hollywood Holler brought you the story about how Johnny Depp’s lawyers revealed that he spends $2 million a month on crazy extravagant things, causing his own financial trouble. Guess he didn’t take the hint!

According to US Weekly, a source close to the star says he has a new costly venture in mind. Johnny owns 5 homes on a cul-de-sac in the Hollywood Hills. In order to complete the actor’s dream of having his own completely private compound, Johnny wants to connect them all with an underground tunnel system.

If it were up to Johnny, this would have been done a long time ago, but the owner of the sixth house won’t sell, even though the source claims “Johnny has offered him everything.”

Oh well, Johnny. For now you’ll just have to slum it above ground like the rest of us!
