Apparently, rumors are spinning that Don Lemon wants his own show, and Andy Cohen, the only openly gay late-night talk show host on American television, is allegedly not OK with it.

“Don wants a looser late-night show similar to that of Bill Maher and Andy Cohen,” a source said to OK! Magazine. “He is calling it an authentic conversation where you can really talk, not the old fashioned interview style of questions. A conversation you cannot have at 7 or 8-pm on CNN… Andy is keeping a close eye on Don. Cohen is super competitive and he likes being the only gay man doing this kind of show. This is going to be a great big fat gay war for sure…”

Whether the rumors are true or not, it’s hard for us to believe that Andy has any kind of issue with other openly gay late-night hosts. After all, he’s been a champion of LGBT rights for decades — trust us, the world can use more gay hosts!
