Billie Lourd Says She’s Still “Finding the Funny”
After experiencing one of the hardest things a person can go through — losing your mother and grandmother in only a couple days — Carrie Fisher’s daughter (and Debbie Reynold’s granddaughter) Billie Lourd says she is still “blessed on the inside.”
In a new Instagram photo, the actress is seen by the bayou and wrote she is still “finding the funny” (her mother Carrie used to say, “if my life weren’t funny then it would just be true, and that is unacceptable”).
Billie continued, “Finding the funny might take a while but I learned from the best and her voice will forever be in my head and in my heart.”
She and friend and co-star Taylor Lautner vacationed last month in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. And according to a source from People, he is taking “great care of her” and has “really been there for Billie.”
