The world is dealing with PTSD after the craziness of 2016 — Trump, George Michael, Carrie Fisher, and now Debbie Reynolds — and everyone is trying to protect those they love in the artist community, but one guy took it to a whole other level.

Demetrios Hrysikos from South Carolina started a Go Fund Me page to help protect Betty White from 2016, and it’s garnered lots of attention already, getting close to their $10K goal.

All the money will be donated to the Spartanburg Little Theater to “help craft new stars of stage and screen to carry mantle of the legends that have left this year.”

Now that’s a cause we’re sure Betty would love to be a part of. But let’s face it, she is going to live forever.
