Ashton Kutcher wasn’t too cool to ask for help after his divorce from Demi More.

In a Saturday night panel at the Airbnb Open 2016 in LA, Ashton said he lived in Airbnbs (he’s also an investor of the company) for a whole year after divorcing Demi and losing his home.

“I went to Europe and I flew in and got in in the middle of the night,” he said. “I arrived at the Airbnb at 2 a.m. The person had left me dinner and a glass of wine. It was … the magic and the love that I needed in that moment. I was shocked that someone would care that much about a total stranger.”

That night, he said to his friend, Airbnb CEO Brian Chesky, that his perspective on human relationships changed by watching the kindness of strangers.

It certainly has changed for the better, seeing that he’s now happily married with ex-That 70s Show costar Mila Kunis.

Check out the handsome star go off an a protester at the weekend event, only to turn around and tell the audience that Airbnb is about “bringing people together.” He’s smart, he cares, and he’s a freaking model!
