After Dr. Phil’s exclusive interview with ex-movie star Shelley Duvall, lots of people came to her defense, including Al Roker.
The Today Show anchor took to Twitter, claiming that Dr. Phil’s interview exploited her condition and mental illness in general.

Vivian Kubrick, daughter of Stanley Kubrick, director of the “The Shining,” which starred Shelley, also came to her defense after creating a GoFundMe page in support of the actress with a $100,000 goal, calling the interview “appallingly cruel.”
