On an episode of Watch What Happens Live, Eddie Redmayne opens up about the rumors he had a fling with Taylor Swift.

“I never went out on a date with Taylor Swift,” he said, “although I met Taylor Swift. She auditioned for Les Miserables and she was amazing in the audition. We got to sing together, which was a big moment for me. But no we never went out. She was extraordinary.”

He goes on to defend the singer about why she got so much flack around it. What a guy! Of course, Eddit is married to PR woman Hannah Bagshawe — and he has a kid, so everyone back away slowly!
